This particular MINI was here on loan for an arts festival. Note that it also had the speed in km/h — a tell. It is surprisingly roomy. As far as the dealer said, they had already sold 145 of them even though they couldn't deliver them yet. No sales can be made unless a functioning, separate showroom is live — theirs opens June 1st.
The 745 is a remarkable car. The MINI is something else entirely. Put them side by side in front of a room full of BMW enthusiasts and see which one gets the crowd.
